The 1st Asian Club Taekwondo Championships

The 1st Asian Club Taekwondo Championships is brought into light with much meaningful additions to our Taekwondo history; and I would like to congratulate its successful inauguration together with all Taekwondo people in Asia.

On this occasion, I express my heartfelt appreciation and respect to Mr. Seyed Mohammad Pouladgar who made this possible with passion, persistence, dedication, and devotion to Taekwondo over the past three years or so.?Also, I tender my appreciation to the people of IR Iran, Iranian Olympic committee and sports leaders for their love and special support for Taekwondo. The soil of love for Taekwondo which spread out in Iran gave birth to this wonderful championships.

The Asian Club Taekwondo Championships are meaningful in many ways.

First, the championships will open up new horizon for Taekwondo to sports for general adults from players centered sports. In other words, Taekwondo will develop into a daily physical exercise from the sports for a few elite players.

Second, not only will this promote Taekwondo practitioners to serve various walks of life but also expand the ground for young Taekwondo athletics.

Third, the championships will lead Taekwondo to be sports in workplace and community thus contributing to the building energetic workplaces and sense of unity in communities.

Fourth, the championships will be more meaningful than a competition among clubs and corporate entities. It will help Taekwondo available to anybody, anytime and anyplace to make our lives enriched and happier. I am sure that the championships will accomplish its purposes and be a new mile stone for development of world Taekwondo.
