First of all, on behalf of the Asia Taekwondo Family, I would like to express my deepest condolences to the victims, their family members and Iraqi Taekwondo Federation.

I feel very sad to hear that 13 Iraqi Taekwondo athletes, who were kidnapped in May 2006, were found in death last week in Iraq. And I am really got enraged  and condemned at this incident. Specially no more kidnapping of athletes, even though any kind of international terrorism as a threat to international peace and security.

Hoping the victims’ families and Iraqi Taekwondo Federation to overcome the great sorrow and sadness of this adversity as soon as possible with the Asian and global Taekwondo family members, I always appreciate the Iraqi Taekwondo Federation for your contribution to the development of the sports of Taekwondo.

Lastly, The ATU is praying for the soul of victims and family members with you and I hope that there will be no more terrors in Iraq and keep in peace from now on.
