The 4^th Asian Junior Taekwondo Championships/Petra was held in Amman, Jordan for 4 days, from August 22 to 25, 2007. And ATU(Asian Taekwondo Union) had a Council Meeting, the Extraordinary General Assembly and IR Training Course before a day of the game. During ATU General Assembly, the ATU Rules and Regulations were amended in agreement with the members.

On the first day (the 22nd) morning, the Peace Parade was carried out to walk the street about 1 Km, showing the world peace, the hopes in Middle East with slogan of “Peace Through Sports”. Those who joined are the president of ATU, Dai Soon Lee, the President of JTF, HRH Prince Rashid Bin El Hassan, the members of Jordan NOC, staffs and athletes who participated in the Championships. The news of the peace parade was reported by Jordan local newspaper. (Attach 1)

The President of ATU, Dai Soon Lee, made a speech for the spirit of fair play whole through game at the opening ceremony before competition. His message was applauded and admired as follows:

 “…Let us focus all our efforts and energy once again on spreading this noble vision of sportsmanship rather than chasing after victory so that all the participants in the 4^th Asian Junior Taekwondo Championships today can be the winners of gold medals in the area of fair play and applauded and admired by those who watch them….”

The reporters of the newspapers and the media were busy writing the detail story about the games with the shouting and cheering of the spectators whole through 4 days’ competitions. The junior game was usually not absolutely formed different from the senior ones in skills, trainings and matures, but they attracted attention to the people’s interest by paying their powers and passions

On August 25, 2007, they announced the total result of the competitions. The Male/Female MVP is SeongJin Cho (Korea) and Dana Haidar(Jordan). (Total result attach 2)

During all games, the President of ATU, Dai Soon Lee, and the President of JTF, HRH Prince Rashid Bin El Hassan had kept on watching all games and expressed their love and passion for the taekwondo.

After the championship ended with success, JTF held the fare well party and the President of JTF delivered an appreciation plaque to every country members and referees including ATU members.

Also, the Member of the Competition Supervisory Board[Chairman:Kyu Seok Lee(WTF,T/D) Member:Mohammad Pouladgar(IRAN), Waleed H. Sarab(Kuwait), Chen Chou Hwa(Jordan), Dae Won Kang(ATU)]  for the 4^th Junior Championships donated their compensation that received from the OC to HRH Prince Rashid Bin El Hassan to help the poor people. This was the one of great example of good deed.

.The 4^th Junior Championships that focused on the peace in Middle East Country and the spirit of the fair play was very successful. Furthermore, it made every Asian Country members united in one country through the taekwondo games.
