The Asian Taekwondo Union is one of the 5 continental unions of the World Taekwondo Federation and we are the official governing body of all Taekwondo activities in the Asian continent.

All our activities are aimed at promoting and developing Taekwondo in this continent. Currently, 41 member national associations are affiliated to the ATU.

Organization of Taekwondo tournaments such as the Asian Taekwondo Championships, the Asian Junior Taekwondo Championships alternating years.

Dispatch of Korean student masters to member countries to teach local Taekwondo practitioners.

Dispatch of demonstration team and holding seminars on athletes training skills overseas.

Organization of academic seminars in Korea more than two times a year to discuss various Taekwondo issues and to appoint the officials of our union.

Maintaining standards established by the World Taekwondo Federation.
